NORTHERN - CA
There's nothing like the mountains. When you are surrounded by them, I love how they put you into perspective and make you feel small. They have a way of making life simpler. I love the fresh crisp air. When we (Calvin, Emet and I) traveled to Northern California we took the long routes to any destination. We soaked up the winding roads - up and down each mountainside. I swear I turned into a kid. My head was outside the car more than it was in. We were pulling over more than we were driving. I wanted to hike every mountain we passed. :) It was a good reminder for me to take more scenic routes and "take the long way home."
