THE KEYS - FL

In 2012, we packed up and spent a whole week in the Florida Keys with some of our dearest friends. We stayed on one of the less populated and touristy keys - Marathon Key. The house we stayed in backed right up to a waterway that lead out to the ocean. Everyday, I would jump into a kayak and paddle out to the ocean. Can I just live there!? The views from kayak, as well as the beach, were breath taking!

What I enjoyed most about this trip was how laid back it was. It was oh, so needed! Some days it rained and we stayed in and watched movies. Others, we were out exploring and trying new restaurants. One day we all jumped into the car and drove to Key West.  It was all so happy! 

We all said we were going to make this an annual trip, but we have yet to all make it back. - I am looking forward to spending another relaxing week there again sometime in the future.
