ANOTHER PAYNE IS ON THE WAY

I haven’t been writing as much these last couple of months. In-between getting to spend time with my little Emet, working on several new projects for clients, and continuing to transition back to Louisville I've been working to find a new rhythm. I feel like I'm finally starting to get there. With that said, I have some exciting news that I finally get to share with you here!

WE'RE HAVING ANOTHER BOY!

I’m happy to say little Baby Boy Payne #2 is very healthy. I’m 15 weeks along and just so in love with this little guy already. We're praising the Lord for this little life! 2017 was a difficult year - towards the end of the year, I found out we were pregnant again with our second child. Things were going really well and I didn't experience any issues. However, I started feeling bad at around 6 weeks. Things progressively got worse over the next couple of weeks and we went to the ER. The doctor confirmed that I was pregnant, but there was concern that the baby was not going to make it. The baby's heart rate was half of what it was supposed to be. We went home very concerned, but hopeful that the baby would make it. However, the next day I miscarried our sweet little baby at just 9 weeks. We were brokenhearted over this loss and the recovery time was longer than I expected. That's why it came as such a surprise when we found out about a month later that I was pregnant AGAIN! We couldn't be more excited for this life that we are gifted with and we're so looking forward to meeting him in August! We're praising the Lord for this news and we're trusting Him as the baby continues to develop.

Here are some photos from a shoot we did today to announce the little guy. Enjoy!
