HIGHWAY 1 - CA

There were so many memorable moments from our family trip to California this summer. However,  I think our drive down Highway - 1 is singled out in my mind as my ABSOLUTE FAVORITE. In a time when everyone is always rushing to the next thing, this route forces you to slow down and take it all in. The fresh air, the smell of the ocean blowing in through the windows, and the ever-changing scenery engaged all of the senses and caused me to fall in love with the West Coast.
