We arrived in California and touched down in the Sacramento airport. We had a few days before we needed to arrive at our destination in Coffee Creek, so we planned for an entire day in Sacramento to explore this fascinating city.
We spent a majority of our time walking around the historic district of Sacramento where there were a wide variety of shops and stores unique to the area. Calvin and I love museums! Of course, we found a history museum and quickly decided that we wanted to spend our time learning as much as we could about Sacramento. We didn't realize how rich in history this area was. We loved learning about how California became a state and all that was involved with the Gold Rush.
Sacramento, you were a blast! I look forward to out next visit and exploring even more.
