THANKSGIVING WEEK - 2021

Thanksgiving, for us, is a much slower paced holiday for us. We spend the day before prepping dishes and the smell of food fills our home. I love being in the kitchen with Calvin listening to music while the boys watch a movie or play in the other room.

Our tradition is to start the day with quiche and monkey bread. We’ve done this the past several years and the boys have started to look forward to it (at least the monkey bread anyway).

We watch the parade and the dog show. And if the weather is permitting, we’ll go outside together and play in the yard.

Just simple and together.

We were thrilled to spend the week of Thanksgiving with Calvin’s parents that were visiting from Florida. It was a wonderful few days of spending time together, sharing meals, and creating new memories together.
